Visit of Finnish Beef Cattle Breeders to Estonia, July 2024

On July 19-20, beef cattle breeders operating within the HK Scan Finland OY group visited Estonia for a short “work and relaxation together” trip.

The two-day visit included some selected farm visits from a previously provided list, as well as a tour of the ETKÜ collection center and the insemination and testing center.

Together, they discussed the overall market situation of beef cattle, and according to them, they were greatly impressed by the cooperation and dedication of our beef cattle breeders and breeding organization to the various stages of beef cattle farming—from breeding and the long and rapid steps taken within it to export capacity, thoughtful grazing, and conscious improvement of meat quality.

Such positive experiences and good relationships always provide a foundation for strong international cooperation. In gratitude for the wonderful tour, the Finnish breeders now invited us to visit them in return, promising to organize at least as good and interesting a program.
